In 2017, Brandon Downton started printing shirts in his parents’ basement in Plymouth, MA, for his rock band. Other local bands started asking for merch, and every order helped fund more supplies and equipment.
Brandon worked nights at another print shop, then came home around 11 p.m. to print his own orders. Those late nights gave Nocturnal Print its name.
In 2021, Nocturnal Print opened its first official shop in Kingston, MA. In 2026, we moved into our new shop in Plymouth—bringing the story back to the town where it began.
Today, that same hands-on approach shapes the apparel we make for businesses, brands, teams and organizations in Plymouth and beyond.

A basement project grew into our first official shop in Kingston, MA.
2026 / BACK TO PLYMOUTH
We moved into our new shop in Plymouth, MA—back where it all began.
